  13. I'm having a little problem with my internet connection.  Everything seemed to
  14. be going OK for several months then this little problem started happening.
  15.  
  16. Once every few weeks or so (OK, so it's really intermittent), I keep losing my
  17. connection to my service provider.  I may be busy downloading software or just
  18. reading a WWW page or something when all of a sudden my modem will go PING and
  19. I find that I have been disconnected.  I have contacted my service provider
  20. and they say that no one else has reported the problem, so it appears that it
  21. is just me :-|.  My service provider has suggested several things, such as a
  22. faulty modem, noisy line or maybe something wrong with the software/setup.

  26.     A4000/030
  27.     14.4 Modem
  28.     AmiTCP 4.0 demo
  29.  
  30. The problem has happened while using various bits of software (Thor, AMosaic
  31. and DaFTP).  Could it be something in my AmiTCP setup?  Has any one else
  32. experienced such a problem?  Any help would be appreciated.
