- Hi all
-
- I'm having a little problem with my internet connection. Everything seemed to
- be going OK for several months then this little problem started happening.
-
- Once every few weeks or so (OK, so it's really intermittent), I keep losing my
- connection to my service provider. I may be busy downloading software or just
- reading a WWW page or something when all of a sudden my modem will go PING and
- I find that I have been disconnected. I have contacted my service provider
- and they say that no one else has reported the problem, so it appears that it
- is just me :-|. My service provider has suggested several things, such as a
- faulty modem, noisy line or maybe something wrong with the software/setup.
-
- My setup is:
-
- A4000/030
- 14.4 Modem
- AmiTCP 4.0 demo
-
- The problem has happened while using various bits of software (Thor, AMosaic
- and DaFTP). Could it be something in my AmiTCP setup? Has any one else
- experienced such a problem? Any help would be appreciated.
-
- Thanks muchly in advance.
